Hi, I’m Joey Oyong. I am a developer, designer, and support specialist who brings together problem solving, creativity, and reliable systems thinking.
I build practical solutions, including a Squarespace website system for musicians, DJs, and independent artists who want a clean online home without ongoing maintenance. My background spans production support in fintech, full stack web development, and hands-on creative work across branding, posters, and client websites.
As a developer, I have experience with React, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Flask, and APIs. I also have an Associate's of Applied Science in Information Technology, with a focus on Computer Programming/Web Development.
Alongside my engineering work, I design graphics and brand assets. I take on custom website builds from scratch or in platforms like Squarespace. I have experience with branding, layout design, typography, color theory. I create visuals using GIMP, Canva, and Sketchbook as my primary design tools which allows me to produce clean, consistent designs for both web and print projects.
I also bring years of hands-on problem solving from my time working as a journeyman electrician, which shaped how I approach systems, safety, and real world troubleshooting.
I enjoy projects that combine technical and creative thinking. I am a strong fit for roles where development, application support, and design intersect, and I bring a builder’s mindset to every team I work with.
